In order to get on the creative server you’ll need to open a ticket with IT on ServiceNOW. You can access that page now (then bookmark it, you’ll need it more often than I’d like to admit.)
To connect to the server on Mac press Command+K and smb://CAGTA1SRV16/SHAREDN/NSDeloitteDigital/Delivery/Toronto/Creative Team/
1. Open Finder
2. Click the Finder Menu > Preferences
3. Click the General tab
4. Select the checkbox next to Connected Servers to show mapped drives on thedesktop
5. Close Finder Preferences
6. From the Finder, hit Command+K
7. Enter the path to the network drive(s) you want to map, smb://CAGTA1SRV16/SHAREDN/NSDeloitteDigital/Delivery/Toronto/Creative Team/
and click ‘Connect’
8. Click the Apple Menu > System Preferences
9. Click on Users and Groups
10. Click the User Name for the laptop owner
11. Click on “Login Items”
12. Drag the mapped drive(s) from the desktop to the Login Items window
13. Ensure the “Hide” box is checked
14. Exit out of System Preferences
15. Right-click on the mapped network drive(s) on the Mac OS desktop, select “MakeAlias”
16. Open Finder
17. Click the Finder Menu > Preferences
18. Click the General tab
19. Select the checkbox next to Connected Servers to show mapped drives on the desktop
20. Close Finder Preferences The user will now have an Alias to the folder on the desktop, and it will auto mount at login.
